The A700 is basically an upgrade to the A620. It has a brighter LCD that works well in low light conditions. The battery life is great for two nimh rechargables. Great features for this price. It has an optical viewfinder for extremely bright conditions. Flash underexposes a bit indoors so you may have to overexpose half a stop at times. You can't find a camera with manual controls for less that this.
