Designed for light duty shredding in the home or home office, the Fellowes® Powershred® P-55C reduces documents to 5/32 x 2" confetti particles, and shreds up to 8 sheets per pass, 10-20 times per day, for a total daily capacity as high as 160 sheets. Unique Safety Lock prevents the shredder from accidentally being turned on. Equipped with a 9" paper entry, the P-55C easily accepts standard letter or legal size documents. The durable steel cutters also accept credit cards and staples. Electronic auto start/stop features ensures quick, easy shredder operation. Shredder is open in front for disposal of non-shredded waste as well as allowing the user to see when 5-gallon wastebasket is full. The P-55C also has a pivoting head with a handle that makes waste removal quick and easy. Sheet capacity gauge helps prevent paper jams, while the reverse function easily removes paper jams.

I used a fellowes shredder in the past and found it met my needs very well
Cons:
I'm glad to upgrade and have a machine that will crosscut fro better privacy protection

I am happy to have it with the added capacity to shred credit cards. I wonder at what point cutting paper that has some pre-glue or sticky backing will become a feature. I have occasion to try a get rid of address labels that ready to use but outdated. It is a privacy concern that need to be addressed. Hopefully there will be a solution soon. Burning such items is not always acceptable. Thank You for a chance to share my views.
