The biggest problem with this model becomes evident when you try to download your video. You hve to buy some $4 software from panasonic so that the computer will recognize the video format, which is back-ordered 2-months. The other option is to buy specific video editing software for $100, which may not be a bad thing unless you already have another $100 video editing program. There is no firewire capability either. Overall, I was happy with this purchase until I wanted to download my videos.
