According to TheOfficeGuide.com
Remanufactured Inkjet Cartridges or recycled cartridges are basically OEM (original equipment manufacturers) cartridges that have been refilled with ink and given brand new print heads. Remanufactured cartridges are often just as good and offer a great way to save on your printer ink cartridges.
In most cases a remanufactured cartridge has been through one or more cycles of service, sent back in, and and then refilled. Good companies will thoroughly clean the printheads, filled them with the same ink formulation, and then check on the internal atmospheric pressure for any possible leakage. The cartridges electric circuitry is then tested and finally put through a printer to ensure quality. Please take a look at our recommended suppliers for quality companies that follow these procedures.
