How to Tell Quality Tape
A quality packing tape should:
- Be more resistant to slivering or seam splitting
- Seal packages securely
- Have strong polypropylene backing with high edge tear and split resistance
- Have excellent adhesion in temperatures from 32 degrees F to 140 degrees F
The best and most secure packaging tapes are reinforced with continuous glass yarns across length and width for added strength.
